The Suspension and handling is where the Ford Racing Puma shines. It is said that the Ford Racing Puma is one of the best handling front wheel drive cars of all time.

 

Eibach uprated shock absorbers and springs were fitted all round.

One of Ford's test drivers; Richard Parry Jones said that he preferred an even harder, stiffer ride to further improve the cars handling. These dampers are known as RPJ dampers and were available as an order option.

It is thought that only 1 example was ordered and left the Tickford factory with RPJ dampers fitted.
