During 2000, anyone who had bought and registered a Ford Racing Puma by May 31st were entered into a prize draw; an all-expenses paid trip to Le Mans (June 16th-21st 2000) with Ford Racing.

 

Ford Racing took a total to take 25 lucky FRP owners (plus a partner). A detailed itinerary consisting of route maps, which even showed the numerous stops for petrol and food were supply by Ford Racing to show the planned trip over the week.

The trip was planned as a publicity stunt for Ford Racing and the Ford Racing Puma to promote the cars, and hopefully sell more units. The lucky trip winners agreed to photo shoots whenever asked as part of the ‘deal’.
